The focus of this study was to examine the effect of caffeine on the participants' test performance and their mood. The data for 18 participants tested for reading comprehension with and without caffeine consumption analyzed with independent samples t-test indicated that there was a significant difference in comprehension test scores with higher scores in caffeine condition among undergraduate students. Though the study found seem to have implications in the use of caffeine by students to enhance their concentration while studying but due to small sample size, more research is warranted.
